When I think about Christmas, I think about good food. Well, who doesn’t want one anyway? It’s always been the time of the year when we bond with our loved ones, and share with them our holiday favorites. Here are some of the Christmas Mouthwatering Recipes that never fail to stir my appetite. Yum!

Mixed Paella

Christmas is not all about sweets. Food is food, and nothing beats it when it satisfies your craving stomach. A savory mix of chicken, shrimps, crabs, clams, mussels, fish, potato, and rice, this paella recipe will definitely please you to the last serving!

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups rice
  • 1 Cup shrimp
  • 3 pcs Blue crabs, cleaned
  • 1/2 kilo Manila clams
  • 2 Fish fillet
  • 1/2 kilo mussels
  • 1 medium Onion, sliced
  • 2 Cloves garlic
  • 1/2 Red pepper
  • 1 Can green beans
  • 1 tsp saffron flower
  • 1 tsp annatto powder
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 Cup canned tomato
  • 1/2 Cup stocks from shrimp heads
  • 2 Cups water
  • Canola Cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Filipino Sweet Style Spaghetti

I’ve always admired my mom’s spaghetti recipe. For this post, I chose the one that closely resembles it. It’s saucy, cheesy, and oh so tasty!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. spaghetti noodles
  • 1 lb. Italian tomato sauce
  • 8 ounces tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • ½ cup minced carrots and red peppers
  • 2 cups diced or thinly sliced hot dogs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning mix
  • 7 ounces evaporated milk
  • grated cheese for topping

Lumpia has always been my favorite since childhood. Every bite comes with a delicious treat.

  • 2 lbs ground pork
  • 1 1/2 lbs 21/30 shrimp
  • 1/2 cup minced yellow onion
  • 1/2 cup Chinese celery
  • 1/2 cup carrot
  • 6-7 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 125 5″ square spring roll wrappers
  • peanut oil for frying

  • 4 cups young coconut, shredded
  • 1 (30 ounces) can fruit cocktail, drained
  • 1 cup pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 1 (15 ounces) can sweet corn kernels, drained
  • 1 (12 ounces) kaong
  • 1 (12 ounces) nata de coco
  • 1 cup Eden or Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (14 ounces) can table cream
